Net32, Inc. Launches New Dental eCommerce Site
Net32, Inc. today launched a new dental Web site at www.net32.com. The new site further strengthens the company's position as the undisputed leader in online shopping for dental products in a comparative setting, and is a direct response to customer feedback regarding desired improvements.
Research Triangle Park, NC, October 17th, 2001 - Net32's mission is to become the place to purchase dental products. In pursuit of that vision, dentists can now take advantage of choosing from over 80,000 product selections from more than 60 different distributors and direct sale manufacturers. Searching for a particular dental product, products a grid showing the various vendors of that product, pricing by vendor, and quantity discounts.
The new site brings a multitude of new features to dentists including:
- Increased speed: Knowing that a dentist's time is extremely valuable, a primary objective was to increase overall speed. The software application has been rewritten in its entirety on a new platform to achieve this goal. Our testing has demonstrated much improved response time.
- Improved search capabilities: The ability to efficiently find the products you need is greatly enhanced. For instance, it is now possible to search by simply entering a Henry Schein, Inc. code. This will take you directly to a grid showing all Net32 vendors that carry that dental product with pricing and discounts. This fulfills perhaps the most common request we have received from dentists over time.
- Retail pricing displayed: Exactly how much are you saving on your dental supplies? Now you will know at a glance. Retail pricing from the major brick and mortar dental suppliers has been incorporated into the site. This means that upon searching out a product, the vendor pricing grid will show, on a line item basis, the dollar and percentage savings in comparison to current retail pricing. Savings of 15% to 40% are commonplace at www.net32.com.
- Enhanced shopping cart: Your shopping cart is now a dynamic tool, providing immediate price comparison capabilities, linking to individual dental product purchase histories, and also showing you savings over retail on a per product, per vendor and per order basis.
