There are many ways to retract
I have never used electrosurgery or laser to retract. Just cord. I recently prepped two maxillary centrals for laminates. Could not use cord for fear of breaking a very tight gingival attachment at the middle cervical area. This product worked! Although I am adept with cord, I will give this product more play in the future.
