I love these burs. My sealants never fail when I prep lightly first. Better retention and I've been surprised to find caries in locations I didn't expect to. I do better dentistry using these burs to prep for sealants.

Still the best for enamoplasty
I think SS White has a patent on this design, and after many years I still find it to be a reliable bur to open up occlusal pits and fissures for fissure sealants. I follow the fissurotomy bur with laser etching to ensure a very long lasting sealant.
