with Tradent SupplyBuyer bewareEpic failure in design, at many levels. Do NOT buy!
I was looking for the single use light body mixing syringes similar to the one that come with Impregum Garant Soft material.
Here are some key highlights:
1. When connecting the syringe to the main cartridge, there is no reliable retention, the syringe does not lock in place for the material transfer and you will have to keep applying pressure onto syringe unit. If you apply too much pressure, the syringe may slip.
2. There is no side barrel purging exists there for the likely case that one barrel will fill up faster than the other one. Which will be the case every singe fill routine.
3. The plungers with piston parts are not possible to be removed after being inserted. Instead, the handles will disconnect from the pistons, leaving pistons stuck in the barrels. Once that happened, you can try to push them with unbent paper clip if the barrels are not loaded. If they are, just toss the whole syringe.
4. High friction during syringing of the materials during application. The tip will be shaky.
5. If you happen to disconnect the tip from the barrel, the plastic insert will come off from inside as it has less than zero retention (I think it should have some retention as it is no reason for the user to take it out during use). The insert is almost symmetrical and you will have to figure out te way to put it back correctly while attaching the nozzle back.
For 80 bucks paid, I got it to use 1 time as a test application (the material set well), threw 1 syringe with stuck pistons and one with the insert that flew on the floor out of my hands, and a bag of the junk I will never use. If I paid 80 dollars and bought myself 5 3M syringes of the same design, I would get 5 times the use and could enjoy using superexpensive 3M syringes. In reality 80 bucks would probably bought me 25 3M syringes.
This purchase ended up as $80 for 1 syringe of very substandard quality.

with Franklin Dentalworks greatmake sure the assistant doesn't pull the plunger out too quick to load it. A few times the soft plungers have detached inside the syringe and they are not recoverable after that. Was this review helpful to you?Was this review helpful to you? -

with Franklin DentalMost helpful tool for light body placement! These are extremely helpful for light body material as it allows you to be more precise at the margins, and it cuts down on material waste at the same time. Overall the cost savings is probably a wash when you figure in the cost of the syringe, but the ease of use and precision placement of light body makes it well worth purchasing these syringes! Was this review helpful to you?Was this review helpful to you? -

with Franklin DentalCleaver Mojo IIWhat a clever idea this is. Not only does this syringe provide enough material to place light bodied impression material around three teeth, its small delivery size allows for precise placement of material. Filling the syringe is simple and it takes approximately 3/4 of the same material as the mixing impression tip wastes. Spend a little upfront and save a bunch at the end. I highly recommend this item. Was this review helpful to you?Was this review helpful to you?
