This is a good alternative to the Kerr pulp vitality scanner and is more portable. I gave it 4 starts because the battery (9 volt) is difficult to install. The battery compartment cover does not lay flush, you kind of have to switch the wires into the small compartment and hope the screws hold it all in place.
