Let me preface that I use these for foot care instruments and medical pedicures. I do not sterilize my equipment in an autoclave but use chemical sanitization process. I put my instruments in these pouches to store after cleaning and sanitizing. They work well for my purpose and are not thin walled so that instruments pierce the sides.
