Disappointed, I use other Mark3 products and they are generally good. However this temp material does not set up. We tried it; long setting time; not predictable at all and not user friendly Net32 Response (5/18/22): We are sorry that the customer received Temp Material that did not meet expectations. This does not set well it takes multiple times and tips, bleeding half the material makes using this product difficult.

Anytime I'm presented with an economical alternative to a brand name dental material the hair on my back automatically goes up. I've used ALL the temporary materials in my 40 years of practice... the $200/unit C&B temporary materials and many priced similarly. I made my Mark3 purchase last year and the "Wow" factor has to be applied here. It has a preliminary set time of around 1 minute (less than the stated time) and it has a great post-set working quality. It carves and polishes well and there's no shrinkage. It repairs with bond and flowable composite well. I have found there's no florescence to the product so if you're looking to impress that 3 piece suit patient then maybe you need to keep another product on hand. But this holds up to posterior occlusal forces and therefore it's a great value. PS: It's also a great temporary seal to a completed root canal. They should sell this in a small syringe for this purpose.
