Hard to open. Dr.Cassidy (CEO Net32, Inc) comments: I agree with that the plastic sleeves can be difficult to open. I find that snapping them off rather than trying to twist off works great.

The Monoject #401 30 gauge short needles are pretty much all I use. I can still aspirate, and have never experienced a broken or "lost" needle in 20+ years. I do not believe that a 25 gauge needle is just as comfortable as a 30 gauge as is purported by some on the lecture circuit out there.
