Been using these for years, never had one that didn't work or stopped working while using. The soft is not super soft but not firm. The cup is a good height/length, which means it easy to use and control.

These cups are fine for routine cleanings, however the cup material easily breaks off when it encounters a lingual retainer or other non-tooth obstacle. The hygienist says, "its fine for now, don't order it again."
