I've never had a prophy magic product fail on me. However, I'm wondering what the appeal of this "comfort angle" is. From what I've seen, it makes it easer to reach the occlusal and facial surfaces (the easy ones), and much much harder to reach lingual surfaces (the harder ones). Maybe this design solves a problem that you have, but I think I will stick with the 90 degree cups from this same manufacturer--they're the best I've seen.
